ON SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 2008, A SURFERS' MEMORIAL WAS DEDICATED AT TOURMALINE SURFING PARK.
The memorial is a standing testiment to all the good people, past , present and future who have made Tourmaline an outstanding place to surf.
Through the work of many volunteers and the efforts of the Tourmaline Tailgaters Surfing Association, this monument serves to preserve the Aloha spirit that is at the root of surfing .

On August 25, 2008, We had the pleasure of hosting Bing Copeland for the signing of his new book, Bing Surfboards, Fifty Years of Craftsmanship and Innovation.
Over 60 of Bings friends and former employees showed up to talk story and enjoy an evening with him.
Below are just a few photos from the event.

The second annual Ta-Hoe Classic was a great success with over 100 participants and their families in attendance. The weather was perfect at about 100 degrees at race time. The lake was mirrored glass. Ernie and his volunteers did a tremendous job.
Below are just a few shots, I was having too much fun to take the time to shoot many photos. |
