About X-PADDLES All X-Paddle brand paddles are available in either 8.25" or 9.25" widths. There is two carbon fiber fabric patterns. The 3K pattern has the traditional small square look. The 12K is a larger weave and offers a bold dramatic look. The shafts come in a variety of fabrics wraps and finishes from the 3K to the filament winding to a Kevlar wrap. DESIGNED BY SEAN ORDONEZ Sean started with the image of a swimmer's hand: reaching out and cupping the water and then channeling it straight with minimal wander. He shaped the blade with a leading edge lip that is slightly tucked (forming a "cup") and a channel running vertically down the center to aid stability and directionality. The result is a super light, concave blade that "hooks up" earlier in the stroke, spills less water, and tracks straight. |
